I've seen many new shop/business
buyers make
the mistake of trying to always
offer the lowest price
when they first start out.
They assume that because
they are the cheapest,
they will get the most business.

This is rarely the case in real life, though.
When you offer only bargain basement prices,
you quickly get a reputation
as someone who offers a cheap product.

That's fine if you prefer to capture
the low end of the market,
but that’s not the only market.
I want to point out that
the low end isn't the ONLY end.

There are plenty of people who
will gladly spend top dollar for
a high end bath and body product.
There are many people for
example who only
want high quality soy candles
instead of cheaper paraffin.
Paraffin is also a petroleum product.
Soy wax is made from soybeans
grown right here in the US,
and it supports the American farmer.

Many people only use the best
lotions, soaps, etc. on their skin,
or maybe the person
they're buying it for means
a great deal to them and
they only want to give
them the best.

Think about this when you
first get into business.
Not everyone wants the
low end bargain basement produt.
Yes, there are lots of people who do,
but there are just as many
who want the higher end products.

I think it was Donald Trump who said,
"There's always a market for the very best."
The demographic group who has
a great deal of disposable
income, always buys whether
the economy is good or bad.
They continue to pamper
themselves, their loved ones,
and their friends.

What kind of reputation would
you like to have? Do you want
to be known as the cheapest,
or the best? Either one is okay,
but it's important to CHOOSE
your reputation in advance.
It's difficult to change your
reputation, after it's set.

So decide what your
demographic market is,
what products they want,
what price they will pay,
and choose those products.

Springdale Spa  will be offering a whole new line of exciting bath and body products....

made with Natural and Organic Elements

This line of products will contain natural elements such as organic oils, red wine, crushed grapeseeds, cranberry seeds, coconut milk, strawberries and other fruits, honey, rice and more.  Natural and organic elements that are good for the skin.  More of our Body Chocolates will be made with organic cocoa which is good for your skin too!

The right size label for your private label collection

The choice of label size can often be puzzling, and the link below can be very helpful.

These plain jane photos can help you determine what size label you'd like to use on your products.  We recommend that you first choose what products you'd like to carry, then possibly what size products.  Make a list and then view the pictures to see how you can label all your products with just one or two sizes of labels. Perhaps you can use a 2" square and a 2.5 " round to successfully label your whole line.  The choice is yours.

By clicking on the pictures you can view what size label is on what size container.  Imagine how your own logo/design would look in that size on the containers.

You will need to supply us with your design in the exact size of the labels you ordered.  So, if you want 2" square and 2.5 round labels you'll need to send your graphic in those two sizes in 300 dpi.  We don't charge a set up fee as print shops do.  But we are not graphic artists and are doing the short run labels as a convenience to our customers.  We do have an associate graphic designer who can size your designs, or even create them for you, her charge is $75.00 an hour with a one hour minimum.
